Going Down
We slept well after last night's 'last supper' party and didn't hear the rain which must have fallen as everywhere was very damp and the usual beautiful views totally oblitered by a heavy mist, so no flying today - probably just as well after a very late night, for some!
Breakfast: 2 poached eggs on toast for me and a flying start (full English) for Mr HB and plenty of cups of tea. Then a lot more chat (mostly flying talk) got underway and we eventually got away from the Club at lunchtime. The hills were still shrouded in a thick mist which meant getting off the very big hill a little scary at times.
It has been a very good weekend. We wish H and her husband D (recently retired himself after being the senior course instrutor for many years) all the best for a long and happy retirement.
Looking forward to an early night!
