Full of promise

Already in some places the blackberries are ripening, but just around here there are still a week or two to go. That didn't stop me seeing the promise in these green ones though. They just haven't reached their full potential yet.

Reminds me of the notice that wouldn't go amiss on many (if not all) Christians which says something along the lines of "Please be patient with me - God hasn't finished with me yet!" We still have potential to fulfil, new talents to develop, new fruit to bring to fruition, and a lot of recurring stuff to overcome.
