To the sea

But the sea was not especially welcoming. See the extras for the wall of water we faced (taken by someone else) and another rather atmospheric photo of the waves taken from the car park. But I went with the found object as my main blip. It was invigorating and fun and it was lovely to see the others. We were there in quite large numbers despite the grey damp day, and despite the off-putting waves.

For the rest, it has been another quiet day around the house sorting bits and pieces here and there and getting ready for an early start tomorrow. Mr A transplanted an unhappy looking hellebore to a different spot where we hope it will thrive. And although it was supposed to be damp all day, I got a load of washing and my swimming stuff more or less dry on the line. We also popped over to Pipers at lunchtime and treated ourselves to a bacon roll.
