Toe Beans

Today is my sister's birthday so I spent a good hour video chatting with her to start my day (and her day) off right. She lives a 17 hour road trip away, so it is rare that we get to see each other in person. Last summer, I saw her when her daughter had her second child, and this summer, I will see her in Nova Scotia to celebrate our dad's 90th!

My daughter loves cats so a fav spot to go to is the Toe Beans Cafe in a neighbouring town. It is a cat cafe with rescues so you can spend some time having a bite to eat and/or playing with the cats who are up for adoption.  This sweet girl was not happy to be in the general population (she was scared of all other cats) so she was in a room by herself. I was going to send this photo to the cafe for advertising purposes, but she was adopted shortly after we left!  No wonder...she is a sweetie!

Very chilly but sunny here.  Back to work I go tomorrow!  Have a great week ahead!
