CHA Walk

Alighted CHA coach at Greenhow to walk to Pateley  Bridge - espying this sight on route - other sights in extra - a stream that had to be crossed- no bridge or stepping stones- too deep to walk through- loop added to find suitable crossing point - quarry working at Coldstones Cut - too misty to take in long distance views from viewing point - tree showing which way the prevailing  wind blows - was blowing today - walker atop a hill - walked through fields of sheep and lambs - as always an interesting walk in good company with time to partake of refreshments in Pateley Bridge before catching coach home
