The town that thread built.

I was watching a really good documentary this afternoon the impact of the thread industry on Paisley near Glasgow.

I remembered that a friend of mine had given me some old reels of thread from her mother’s collection of sewing items.

They are from J&P Coats and Clark and Co.

It’s a really good documentary if you like social history.
