Singing Robin

I got a message early this morning from my son who lives in Cadiz Spain to tell me that El Rui Señor, the nightingale, had arrived and was singing its head off at the bottom of his garden. I replied with an image of my song thrush singing lustily from the top of the ash tree.

A bit later in the morning I photographed this robin singing in reply to another robin from the blossoming cherry plum.
