Let the train take the … bus!

The train to Reading only got as far as Swindon due to engineering works. The replacement buses were delayed by road closures for The Reading Half Marathon. The bus miraculously made the connection for the train to London Gatwick Luckily we have an early flight in the morning. You have to allow enormous contingencies when travelling theses days. When the hotel room lights went out I thought we were sunk! Incorrect key card to blame!
