Launch!

While on my Florida holidays the dates fell right to witness a launch from Cape Canaveral.

This is a Delta IV carrying an Australian communications satellite, it took off at 8.29pm local, sunset was at 8.10pm so lovely viewing conditions.

We found a car park next to the causeway over the Banana River. Unfortunate my slr has chucked it due to the humidity and I videoed the whole thing so this was the best snap I could get with my iPhone.

Great experience though, and the kids loved it.
