Staying over evening

Iain was staying over at mine tonight. I picked him up at the station after work. I was on footie mum duties this evening though as my ex backed out of taking Ethan to it tonight at the last minute. So by the time I’d made dinner and taken Ethan to / from footie training, the evening was pretty much away.
