Ridiculous or cute?

Hit the shops today and a couple ofmany purchases were made. Got a dress, jeans and a couple of tops for myself and a dress, skirt and top for Becca. Both kids also got a pair of Vans. Ollie bought himself a baseball mitt to go with the ball he stolegot from the sports bar we visited the other day and Becca wasted what little holiday money she has left on a 1D Niall doll. David got bored!

Lunch involved a large portion of cheesecake which is still sitting uncomfortably in my tummy :-S

Among the stores we visited was one called American Girl which sells dolls for the bargain price of $110. You can then buy various clothes and accessories for the doll including a clip on booster seat so your doll can sit at the table with you in restaurants (the store had a cafe where many mother/daughter/doll combos were enjoying coffee/milkshakes/plastic food) By far the most astounding thing was the in-store hair salon for the dolls!!!!! Here you could pay $20 and your doll could sit in the mini salon seat and have her hair done (see photo) -madness!
