Signs of Spring

Rang the breast unit this morning, and within an hour I had seen the nurse and she had reassured me that everything was okay, I just needed to be patient.

Then a wander to the station to arrange a trip over to York (I have booked passenger assistance so that I shouldn’t need to lift my bag onto the train). A short amble around the park on my way home.

A zoom meeting of the dementia carers advocacy group this afternoon will give me the opportunity to contrast the available support from the local NHS for breast cancer patients vs dementia patients. I realise that there are many more treatment options available for the cancer but the experience is so different.
