Bourges

With the added bonus of driving to Bristol having crossed the channel, we decided to break our French journey at Bourges. It is a pretty, large city with an extensive central old area. This image was adjacent to the catherdal and just up from a maze of cobbled  streets and half-timbered buildings. A good place to stop.
