Vista desde el monte Toro.

The morning started badly with heavy rain and thunder, but by the time I'd arranged to go out for lunch with friend L it had cleared up. We decided to go to the Posada atop monte Toro, choosing to sit indoors by the log fire instead of outside in the chilly wind. The food was excellent, and if I haven't posted pictures of it, it was only because I was too interested in eating it - 3 courses of deliciousness plus coffee and a glass of green licor de hierbas dulces, an aniseed and herb confection which is meant to aid digestion and also leaves a pleasant feeling as it's 25% proof. Afterwards we went into the church to look at the stained glass windows and light some candles, and then took in this view from the carpark. On another side, Mallorca was visible on the horizon, so clear was the sky. Extra is a view of the bay of Fornells in the distance. A good day.
