Mono Monday: Week 583 ...

... Book and/or Movie title.

"Squirrel Nutkin" (book by Beatrix Potter) meets "Singing in the Rain" (1952 movie directed and choreographed by Gene Kelly).

"This is a Tale about a tail—a tail that belonged to a little red squirrel, and his name was Nutkin.  He had a brother called Twinkleberry, and a great many cousins: they lived in a wood at the edge of a lake."  ~ Beatrix Potter

It has rained most of day so my photo options were limited to things around the garden/house.  But that's okay because I had planned to use Beatrix Potter's book "Squirrel Nutkin" for today's blip anyway.  The hardest part was getting the squirrels to actually cooperate.  Some finally started coming around in the early afternoon shortly after lunch.  Blip sorted.

Thanks to Lesley Alsford (and GillyH) for hosting Mono Monday this month.

I've added into Extras a shot of a Carolina Wren representing another movie title ... "The Birds" by Alfred Hitchcock.
