Comfort blanket...

I brought this Basuto blanket back from Lesotho as a present for my mum in 2012. The blanket patterns are all strictly regulated and this one was of a new design produced to celebrate a royal birthday. I know that mum treasured it - it is incredibly warm - and it was one of the things she took with her into the care home where she spent her final days.

Edit - I've relegated the original photo to extra status, because looking at it again today I've realised that it's a bit crap and doesn't really convey any sense of what the blanket looks like. It was very much an emergency blip taken just before bed time, and it rather showed. Sorry about that
