Caerketton Craigs and the T-Wood
Damp overnight and very misty first thing. A wee daunder around the park after changing the bedding. Very quiet in the park. The a bit of photo editing until lunch.
After lunch, eldest son arrives with his wife and wee daughter, who is 8 months old. A quick hello, then we are off on the Sunday walk to Swanston. Granddaughter is a tad tired, doesn't like being carried in the carrier. A bit of crying initially, and is carried in the arms of the parents for a while. By the time we get to the farm, she is ready for her afternoon nap and put back in the carrier. She is asleep when I get my blip of the Caerketton Hill. She wakes up for a wee while to look at the Highland Cattle. But asleep again for the extra of a Kestrel, Extra. My daughter in law is a wildlife photographer, and is a bit sceptical initially about taking a photo. This was because the bird is on a electricity pole, there are wires and no background. However she does eventually bring out her big camera and gets a few shots. Walking around the loop, we spot 2 of the Swanston deer. Those are snapped as well. Then it is back home for afternoon coffee and a kitkat, after which it is time for them to head home.
