5th Anniversary!

Yesterday was, of course,  5 years since we went into Covid lockdown. That made today the 5th anniversary of starting to play Rummikub online with Mum. We had bought her a tablet just before we went into lockdown and then I discovered how we could join our own Rummikub game online. it took a bit of getting started, with me also linking my tablet to mum's to offer some assistance. It became a regular evening session, even joined occasionally by my brother and sister-in-law in London. 

We have continued the nightly routine ever since. Occasionally I can't make it if I'm out, but mostly we play the best of three. During lockdown we sometimes played best of 5 or more, especially when the others joined us. At one point I started to keep a record of how many we played and who won but unfortunately I lost that. I'd love to know how many we have played but I estimate around 5,000!  It is a relaxing way to finish the evening.
