Down on the shore.

Today husband and I made the difficult trek down to the lake.  The lake access on the other side of the lake is great, a beautiful county park, the crew club and fishing access spot but our side is a very steep hike down to the railroad tracks (double ones) when there are no train a quick trip across the tracks then a very steep descent to the wet marshy lakeshore.  I will admit I slid down the steep part on my bum.  I will also admit I pretty much crawled back up.  I am always hoping we can find an easier spot to get down to the shore of the lake,  I would love to be able to get down there with camera gear and spend some time photographing the birds.
