Sometimes it's the little things

.... that make your day.

A busy kind of Monday.   After a couple of little admin jobs early on, I spent the morning with Jamie.  A pancake breakfast then some time exploring South Wales online.   Jamie and Clara have a plan to settle there which may involve a move for Jamie in the next year or so.   Exciting but slightly daunting times.   We'll go down and do some exploring before the summer.

I had an early afternoon dental check up in Dolgellau which went better than I expected.  A 'keep a watch on' tooth shows no sign of having deteriorated since the last x-ray two years ago.   A relief as there is a little discomfort at times, it won't last forever but the longer the better.   It was a lovely day for a drive, wall to wall blue skies and I enjoyed them better on my return journey .... having also dropped Jamie's old mattress off at the Dolgellau recycling centre while I was in town.   An extra from a stop at the lake on the way home.

I picked Meg up and did forty minutes glazing at pottery, building up the layers on several pieces.  One more go should see them finished.  Then it was off to Rhydyronen where John and I walked Meg up the lane.  Lovely early evening light, the backlit willow (I think) catkins caught my eye but it was only when I saw the picture on screen that I spotted the wildlife :-)  It's been good to see John for the first time since last autumn.  He joined Jamie and I for one more evening meal before he heads home tomorrow.
