My little friend

One of my neighbors who works for the FDA has to return to the office full time. Her dog, like everybody’s dog, is used to her being home so she worried that he wouldn’t be ok being all alone all day, every day, so she is hiring me to come see him in the middle of the day. 

This is excellent for me. (I don’t know that the dog really cares, but he likes me so he doesn’t mind.) It is excellent for my neighbor, because she doesn’t have to worry and the dog has known me his whole life so there is probably no one he’d rather have visit him.

He LOVES coming into my house. Novelty is fun. 

I had a pretty good day. I exercised. I worked on the proposal.

I’ve always thought the Cybertruck was hideous. Not “unattractive” - hideous. An affront to all aesthetics. Designed for a hostile space alien invasion. My neighbor from South Africa liked it and I was worried that maybe South Africans like the design but the last time I was in South Africa  everyone I knew assured me they thought it was ugly and scary too. I am a little pleased that the fronts are falling off because they are only stuck on with glue. 

The new administration is so well run, and cares about security so much, that ….. That they held detailed discussions of highly classified plans to strike Yemen Houthi militants using Signal. I …. There was a point at which people at USAID were told not to use WhatsApp because it was not a government approved messaging platform. Anyway. The funny part is that they included a journalist on the discussion. The journalist thought he was being pranked until the attack happened exactly when and how discussed. 

One of the super fancy super expensive Su-25 Russian fighters crashed during a routine training mission. This mean they lost five aircraft in one day. A lot of Russia’s losses have been self-inflicted. The pilot ejected, alive.

Ukraine destroyed four Russian helicopters with US supplied HIMARS. 

You remember that Marjorie Taylor’s Greene said that California’s fires were caused by Jewish space lasers? You know who does have lasers? Ukraine. Ukraine shared that they have developed their own Trident system which can get low-flying targets. (This hasn’t been confirmed by any other source btw.) They aren’t the first Earth military to use lasers.
