We made it!

The five of us piled into their car, drove two hours through the rain, and emerged into an afternoon of sunshine, where we thoroughly enjoyed Maryhill Museum and its surrounds. (See preceding blip and Extra.)

I told them about Sam Hill, Loie Fuller, and the Queen of Romania in the car on the way. They loved the story, the crazy museum, and fooling around in the sculpture garden and on the grounds. Sam Hill chose a spectacular location in the High Desert, overlooking the Columbia River.
