This Store Is Now Closed For Ex DIY Selfies

Today's images were taken on another very truncated lone local photographic safari and are of the front of our recently departed neighbourhood Homebase.
It's only a about half a mile from our front door and I have got so used to it just always being there that it feels like it's almost taken on a ghostly presence now that's it's completely empty and you can see straight through it, with the reflections from the nearby trees adding another layer - making it appear as though it's already starting to be reclaimed by nature. So I decided to go with a couple of more impressionistic efforts for today's shots.
My main image wasn't particularly intended as a selfie and it was only when I looked at it again later that I could see that the glass had had the the rather odd (some would say unfortunate) result of magnifying my head - I was more pleased that the light from the exit at the back of the store had accidentally aligned almost perfectly with where I was holding my camera! :-)
