Up into the hills
A sunny and warm day inspired me to take a longer solo walk in the afternoon. The main photo is very near the top of Snake Summit.
Extra Photo is by Shelf Brook in the bottom of the valley
In parts it was warm enough for no coat and a bit of sun cream but cooler returning home.
Some lovely Curlew calls and a few Lapwings but a little low on variety of species. Stonechats seen in two places.
Highlight meeting a Stoat eye to eye. This was because it was about to cross ahead of me as I climbed a steeply rising path. It had a good look and decided I was probably too large to eat. Very amusing.
