Is it such a mystery?

A busy morning. I am always up early, but I don't normally rush about. But this morning the Gasman was coming between 8am -1pm. And sure enough the phone rang at 7.40 to let me know he would be there for eight.

So kettle on ready to go. He was very good, and thorough, and not just because his manager was going to pop round too. My reply to that was I know my boiler is over 10years old but I am not having a new one!!! Actually the gas man asked in front of his manager. ;-))

Anyway job done, a replacement pump for the hot water supply, and I bought a smoke alarm for the dining room as I didn't have one for there. 

Has been a strange day weather wise. Cloudy and chilly this morning, with some light mizzle. Has since brightened up, but still chilly breeze. So having an indoor day.
