Angelsey Barracks
As we knew it would be wet and misty this morning we decided on an atmospheric walk so went up from Llyn Padarn to the Anglesey Barracks built in the 1870s for miners ( mostly from Anglesey for whom it was too far to go home each night)

With the slate glistening in the morning at it was so atmospheric
We then went down to the Vivian hospital which is now a museum - for injured miners, using state of the art equipment and techniques
