Miami Beach

What a brilliant day. We arrived in Miami early this morning and spent most of the day at the huge Sawgrass outlet mall. After an afternoon nap we jumped in a taxi down to Southbeach where we had booked a culinary walking tour. If you ever come here I would recommend that. We learned so much about the area, the people, the art deco architecture and the amazing food in the area. The best being ceviche trindito which was raw fish and scallops where lime juice cooks the fish. We saw the Versace mansion, walked onto South Beach and went into some of those amazing buildings.
Miami has been a real surprise to us as it was meant as a stop off and we weren't really expecting to enjoy it very much but this place is buzzing and we really wish we had booked a longer stay here. We drive down to the Keys today.
