Missing brick

We had a leak somewhere between the water meter and the house so had to get the pipe replaced. Three guys turned up and dug three holes then made a lot of noise before refilling the holes. We now have a new plastic pipe instead of the original lead one that was put in when the house was built.
The only problem is they have lost a brick. It must be buried somewhere cause it’s definitely not on the surface. They are going to pop back with a new one tomorrow.
