Following on from yesterday's tyre pressure blip I've been googling even more, the motoring equivalent of Dr Google I suppose, and it seems from the Seat forums that I'm not the only one who's confused. I've got a number to ring, but I expect they'll say 'go with the sticker'.

This morning I looked out of the back bedroom window to see what all the noise was about and saw three men "gardening" in my neighbours at the back. They hacked the shrub in the corner back by half, which is a shame because the sparrows and starlings gather there, and then the holly tree was lopped to fence height too! 

My journey round the ring road to the Mind shop was slowed by roadworks at the Manor Road junction, I waited through three traffic lights sequences, goodness knows what they're doing... but I'm getting braver with trusting the hill start assist to hold me on the slope!

Anyway I got there eventually and hurrah, Julie was there and she stayed for the morning. It was lovely to see her and I was able to return a book. There were too many volunteers though really and I'm thinking that I might be better volunteering from about 11 until 3, because there's only Sue and Connie in after about 1.30. 

The footwell of my new car is getting muddy. That didn't take long!
