The magic mushroom man

Went to see an exhibition of work by Victor Hugo who (unbeknownst to me) was a talented artist as well as a writer. Fabulous stuff. He was a compulsive drawer - working in the margins of his writings, illustrating letters to friends, working with scraps of paper. He often used materials such as cloth and feathers to texture his work, some of which was quite dark and scary. A few more images here.

TGR went to Oxford to see her aunt today. Got a hire car. I did a bit of grandadding before going off to London. Little Miss A continues to impress and develop at an astonishing rate.
