Bird of the Water

A beautiful Grey Wagtail (one of a pair) pauses between short flights to catch insects above the River Derwent just below the bridge at Matlock, Derbyshire.
Increased numbers of flying insects has lead to increased activity and visibility of these lovely waterside birds.
