A little compilation

We had our normal walk in the woods this morning, then up to Bude for my 6 month dental checkup. Two x-rays and inspection all's well, and appointment made for September.
I did a bit of shopping while there (I did use the supermarket carpark as parking is limited at the dentist).
I took the dogs with me so we could have another walk on the way home at Wilsey Woods. They had great fun, we only met one other person walking their elderly dog. I found some tadpoles in a large puddle, there is rain in the forecast so hopefully all will be well.
Dina of course found plenty of puddles. I noticed in the mud there were a lot of large deer footprints and towards the end of our walk I saw something brown in the distance, looking more closely there were 2 big deer with large antlers looking my way (the photo is on my mobile phone with full zoom but you can just make them out). I called Keely and she was immediately with me, Dina was somewhere in the woods so I whistled and before long there she was making her way back to me. Then behind her another deer appeared and bounded away, Dina bounced a bit in its direction, I whistled again to remind her of the command and she came running back to me. Loads of praise and treats then on the lead back to the van.
When I got home went for a run up to the moor, it's getting easier slowly.
