Chilling

Matthew in Aberdeen. He is accompanying some Australian friends as they do a bit of a tour of Scotland. He was only going to do a few days as he didn't want to be a third wheel but he's still there so either the company, sights or both are agreeable.

Played pickleball today and was asked to lunch by Tim. Not really unusual but I feel he had an ulterior motive which only occurred to me this evening. He made several mentions of a fellow pickleball player, Jane and yes, it did pique my curiosity but I'm not one to pry but he eventually said and I quote 'it seems to be going very well' so I felt I had to ask if they were seeing each other. He was cautious in his reply but I was left with the impression that he hopes it reaches that stage. Anyway, as I said, it was only on reflection this evening that it struck me that this was the real reason for lunch, he wanted to tell someone
