Sunset In The Corvedale

These seedheads are the remains from a patch of land that is / was planted for wildflowers last year 

Not sure if they will come again but the field is due to be ploughed and planted very soon, probably with maize 

There is a very large mound of ripe and steaming manure nearby which will be flung to all corners at some stage...

Can't wait for the aroma ..
