A time for everything

Beautiful Spring walk at Rowe Woods

Tuesday
It was a grey morning, which I spent at home. Early afternoon I had a hair appointment - somewhat overdue, it had got a bit long, but Donna soon took care of that for me. Then R and I got out for a hike at Rowe Woods, where the daffodils have come on nicely since we were last there, and as you can see from my collage various other wildflowers are pushing their way through the forest floor. We knew rain was supposed to move in around 4 pm., but fortunately it held off a little later, and we were in the car on our way home, before it started.
That wasn’t enough exercise for R however, so as I write this in the evening, he has gone out to the gym (!), while I am going to settle down to some knitting. I have been listening to Mahler’s 2nd Symphony, Resurrection, on our local classical radio station, WGUC - what a tremendous finale it has, with full choir, orchestra and organ - it gives me goosebumps every time I hear it!
