Meet Robert

I was on my road bike when I just had to stop and talk with this gentleman in a wheelchair. What caught my attention was the attachment he had on the front of his wheelchair..a motorized front wheel.
It is battery powered and he can go 35K an hour. He just loves his new device that is two years old.


Robert is 52 years old. He had a paragliding accident 5 years ago in Mexico  on a bad landing that paralyzed his legs. He was so talkative and positive about being outside in the sunshine..thrilled that I stopped.
