Richard Osman?
Mrs L and I met at Stowe this morning and because it started raining the minute we got there we decided to go to the cafe first to see if it stopped. The cafe was still closed so we headed to the shop. Which was still shut too! So we sat outside the cafe for a bit, under the shelter of the roof.
Just as it stopped raining and we decided to set off I noticed the man sat inside the cafe behind us. In my usual calm, discreet way I shrieked “Oh my God, there’s Richard Osman!!!!!!”
It’s unlikely that he was sat in Stowe cafe on a wet Tuesday morning so it was probably just someone who looked like him. But if Stowe appears in any future books then it was him!!!
We had a lovely walk. Thankfully no more rain and in the end it was pretty warm and sunny!
Then it was home for a quick cup of tea and then to the pool for 34 lengths and a lovely smug feeling!!!
Miss E went to an open day at Royal Holloway University with her history class. She doesn't want to do history but it was a good opportunity to see what else is on offer.
And Miss L is in full swing with rehearsals for the school production so there was lots of sitting around in cars waiting for pick ups!
Mr K abandoned me as usual on a Tuesday night to play with his friends on their little computer game (as I call it!!) so I carried on with The Road Trip. Uninterrupted. Fab!!!
