Ways of seeing

A day at Malva museum.  The Ilkka Halso photos were admirable but hard to care about.  Treasures from the Collection showcased terrific posters and furniture from the 1950's to 1970's, but the Pauliina Mäkelä installation really impressed.  Wacky, gothic, intricate pencil drawings in an art gallery?  If I'd seen this kind of work as an art student I might have believed there was space for myself in the game.
