Life is like a river

Super Sunday in Brighton

Backblip

*Lazy walk through The Lanes and down to the Brighton Palace Pier (and wondering about pineapples...why do some people here have so many? In a large container on wheels? Others holding only one in their hands and staring at another pineapple lodged between columns in front of the Theatre Royal? Why pineapples?).
*Admiring all the scooters and their owners in front of the gates after walking the pier.
*Browsing the Brighton Flea Market on Upper St. James's Street.
*Sunday roast at The Kemp, oh so very good and we were stuffed for the rest of the day!
*Visiting Kemptown Bookshop.
*Enjoying the views from the Brighton i360 tower.
*Viewing and contemplating JJ Waller's photo exhibition "Lockdown - Informal Portraits of This Time". I was tempted to buy the book, but decided to get "The Joy of Being Brighton" by NK Swallow instead.
*Coffee and a muffin for dinner and then we decided to have a quiet evening at the hotel, reading and relaxing before our last day of the trip.
