Nest Building

The robin was backwards and forwards this morning, with his beak full - I guessed it was all material for building his nest.
He paused long enough for me to get a good shot of him, and when I looked more closely I saw that he’d collected some of the clippings from my partner’s home haircut, which I’d thrown out onto the compost heap!
