The Baron's Beads!

Another last day.

This time it was my Kilmelford Healthy Village Group,  and we were joined by the amazing Mary Sandilands, a local character,  who shared some stories from her book Never Argue with a Matron.
She also told us her story about the 'Barons Beads' in the photos. A gift from Baron Rothschild when she was one of his nurses! Apparently it was years before she realised that the CD on the box stood for Christian Dior!! :)

A very enjoyable last morning,  and I came home with champagne,  wine and chocolates. Lucky me. 

Last last group tomorrow.  Phew.
