New Plaything

My new ikebana vase arrived from Japan today beautifully wrapped in its own fujoshiki cloth, as shown.  

The weather cheered up and there was blue sky after lunch. We went to the Outwoods and I sat in the café as there was still a chill in the air. Basil had two walks with Len and interacted with two other dogs.

Looking forward to playing with my vase but where will I get the blossoms from? Not the Flower Lady. She doesn't sell suitable blooms. Hopefully from Blooming Marvellous on Charnwood Road.

I like the patina on the vase and the impression of sand circles on the top. It came with its own kenzan.
