Ross Sands

A walk along Ross Sands to Guile Point and the beacons. It's a fabulous beach, miles of golden sand, with views of Lindisfarne to the north and Bamburgh to the south. Surely a contender for best beach in Northumberland! The beacons are navigation aids for guiding boats into Holy Island harbour. It's also a favourite spot for the seals.
