This chap, with the fetching RNLI hat was enjoying the sun and his chats – East Street in Bridport.

I took my car in to check the front brakes: the BMW workshop had warned me that they were 70% worn, but the independent garage in Bridport reassured me that there was 5mm on the pads – plenty of life and quite enough for our 1,000 mile tour of Germany next month.  We'll be at a wedding in Coburg, Bavaria, so we'll revisit some old haunts.

Duolingo and German with Laura have been our constant companions for the last few weeks.  I'm starting to feel more confident with word order and genders of nouns . . .
