More art!

Phew! I've just caught up with a week's worth of blips! It's been a crazy and unusual week!

I so regret my early night last night! I was up for three hours through the night. :((

G dropped me off at work so she could have the car to finish off the "acquiring a second parking bay" project. That went smoothly so she spent an hour on the beach, paddling! The only thing now left to do is to get a second access card for the parking lot.

A colleague at work who recently lost his father is now back, so Shabnam and I took him out for lunch. To add to the blow for him, he has also recently been made redundant! Gosh. Shabnam treated us both to lunch as it was my birthday on the weekend.

We chose More Cafe as they have a branch in Building No. 1. On the way there, I spotted this unusual art installation. It is so unusual to see wool in this country, especially outdoors in a bundle! It reminded me of the pom-pom trees in Cranleigh!

The food was delicious and we all agreed that the San Sebastian Cheesecake that we shared was the best we'd ever eaten! Home for the rest of the day. I admit I needed a nap when I came in before I could finish the word day. Ramadan is fast coming to an end, so these shorter hours will be gone, until next year.
