Someone move that lorry

The tree surgeons didn't come until afternoon so I got a morning's gardening done - mainly in the veg patch.
We had a lunchtime church leaders' meeting, lots to discuss, and then a bit of admin at home. The saga goes on, the pension people today; having told me in one email the document I sent was fine and I should fill in a Direct Debit mandate I got another one today saying the document was need in a different format and I'd already done the DD (though the bank seems not to have one) - and didn't answer the question I'd asked.
I sent the document, sent the DD mandate anyway and wrote a rather annoyed email back suggesting, politely I hope, they get their act together.
Time for aome knitting and then the evening run on a lovely evening, though the wind was chilly.
