Beacon Hill (Vardkasen)

Looking down the South Sound from the top of Beacon Hill.
Thank you for all the sympathetic comments on yesterday's blip of the grapes. Your good wishes seem to have worked some magic because I woke up this morning after a good 10 hour sleep feeling much better!
I spent a little time outside, tea in the sunny seat and then took it easy with some easy sorting out of some bits and pieces from my trip. Towards the end of the afternoon we went to town for dinner with Rose, and then the final film of the FilmStudio season. We saw the original version of The Ladykillers, made in 1955. It's the only time I've seen this film on the big screen and it was fun to see the film once again. Alec Guinness plays a wonderful role!
The photo here is taken from the top of Beacon Hill. Still a fair bit of snow on the ski slope but the lower South Sound, seem here, is completely free of ice. Nearer town it is still frozen, as I think you can see in HD's blip.
So, once again thanks for those good wishes which seem to have helped recovery along at a rapid rate!
