Magnolia

Day two of not being at work. Didn't make it to the allotment (not yesterday either because of the rain) but did manage to get a GP appointment for this ongoing, not shifting chest infection. Seems to have been lingering around for ages now and I'm a bit over waking up every morning with a croaky voice.       
Lunch with Sam while he sorted his security clearance and then an afternoon with Dad, sorting through all his papers and trying (successfully) to bring some order to the piles that had developed over the last few months. Gill and her Alzheimer's gave us some comedy moments. Luckily she can still laugh at herself but underneath they are both very anxious and very sad that this it what it's come to. 
The Magnolia outside the front of the house was in full bloom and very beautiful.
