Converted disposable camera

I've seen loads of adverts for "pocket dispo" and other such novelty disposable "retro" camera lenses. Obviously the thing that makes disposable cameras look the way they do is film not a little plastic lens. Anyway, I thought it'd be fun to put a cheap disposable camera lens on my mirrorless and experiment with different film sims. However I wasn't prepared to pay the £40+ asking price for what is essentially a 3d printed lens cap and a recycled disposable camera. so I made my own! I bought a body cap of Ebay for £1.50 inc postage and got an old used disposable camera free from the lovely people at gulabi film lab in the south side. I didn't look anything up just drilled a hole in the body cap, glued the lens in and here we are! This was the first photo I took with it. Not very exciting but a fun project none the less. I think I need to use an on camera flash and experiment more with film sims but as a jpeg straight of of camera I'm pretty pleased!
