Dennis the Dragonfly

We have an annual visitor to our garden pond, or perhaps a lineage of visitor, given the odd sighting of the fearsome nymph larvae that eats the tadpoles in the Spring. Lounardo and I caught sight of him/her? hovering around today and doing strange manoeuvres alongside the pond periphery. He/her/it was very cooperative in terms of being blipped. Obviously a very photogenic aware dragonfly, if ever there was one, and completely fearless of humans. The only other spectator was a frog that jumped out of the bushes and then into the pond.
